Portfolio | Rochester Farm House
New Residence, Rochester, Minnesota. Designed for a family of four, this new home evokes the feel of a Midwestern farmhouse on a lovely wooded site overlooking a meadow and pond. Inside, spacious living spaces with large windows bring view of the surrounding landscape in. Upstairs, dormers add an intimate scale to the bedrooms and along with the front porch, give the exterior an inviting presence. Through careful siting, Albertsson Hansen created strong connections to the outdoors, while gently occupying the land.
- Thoughtful interior and exterior connections, through porches and stairs.
- Ample storage for gardening and sports equipment.
- First floor study with fireplace doubles as couple's retreat.
